Waterbury Symphony Orchestra opens the season with the Sultana Scheherazade as she spins her tales of mystery and wonder over 1001 nights, and celebrate CT’s own Charles Ives 150th birthday in collaboration with local composer Paul Frucht. Pianist, Andrew Armstrong joins for Rachmaninoff’s thrilling 2nd piano concerto.
